Use caution when restoring a database. Performing a backup is recommended before performing a restore.
Restoring a Client Tool database will permanently delete the data in your current Client Tool database. It is recommended that you backup your current database before restoring a database.
The Restore function described below applies to standalone local databases only. If you use a shared network database version of the Client Tool, you will need to have your SQL Server database administrator perform the database restore.
To restore a local database, perform the following steps:
1) Close the Client Tool.
2) Navigate to start --> all programs --> ecmps client --> ecmps configuration utility
3) From the top menu of the ecmps client tool configuration screen, select maintenance --> database restore.
4) Click the select backup archive file button and select the XML file of the database that you would like to restore.
5) Click the restore databases button.
